Rehab 4 Addiction

For many looking to combat addiction, either for themselves or a loved one, seeking professional guidance is often the hardest step. Whether it’s due to feelings of embarrassment, denial, or feeling unable to talk to a professional- there are plenty of reasons someone might be hesitant to reach out.

If you’re affected by substance use disorder (SUD) It’s important to remember you’re not alone. According to an official study, in 2019 a total of 132,124 people started treatment for either drug or alcohol addictions.

Here at Rehab 4 Addiction, we recognize the resolve and courage needed to seek help, and we’re here to aid your transition to a leading rehab clinic in the Bletchley area.

Simplifying the referral process

Fortunately for those living in The UK, there are multitude of rehabilitation centres to choose from when opting for highly successful inpatient care. However, the number of centres yielded by a quick google search can be overwhelming, especially as those suffering from a severe addiction need immediate care.

At Rehab 4 Addiction, we’ve simplified the task of selecting a treatment provider. To find a centre best suited to your individual needs, we’ll organise a free phone consultation with a member of our highly trained team.

During this session, we’ll work to ascertain your specific preferences. This can include an ideal budget, the environment for a clinic, and the severity of the addiction. All the information given will be strictly confidential, and won’t go any further than our phone call.

We’ll also provide a health assessment in order to get a full picture of your struggle with a particular substance. Whether the addiction is based around drugs or alcohol, we can refer you to a range of rehab centres that specialise in the management of each.

Whether you’d rather be based in a Buckinghamshire rehab, or further afield in a countryside location, we can guarantee your placement at a centre that meets your setting preference.

The importance of personalised treatment

As researchers have discovered in recent years, addiction doesn’t look or feel a certain way, and cannot be characterised as one thing. At Rehab 4 Addiction, we recognize the value in viewing addiction as a spectrum, and understand that each case is different.

As part of our referral service we’ll draw up a fully personalised treatment programme, provided by the centre we’ve matched you with.

We’ll use our health assessment and consultation to find out about you as a person- including your interests, lifestyle, and any goals you may have, however big or small. We work with clinics whose programmes prioritize the autonomy of an individual while ensuring the highest standards of care.

As we’re sure you already know, addiction is a debilitating illness and one that requires long term treatment. That’s why a bespoke treatment plan is so important in sustaining lifelong sobriety.

Each stage of an individual’s treatment is informed by the cause of their addiction, as well as both mental and physical health. Moving forward, you’ll be equipped with relapse prevention techniques- all made possible by a personalised care plan acknowledging your needs.

The types of treatment available

During your short term residency (normally around 28-30 days) at a leading clinic, you’ll experience many kinds of treatment on the road to recovery.

While the content of each treatment plan differs depending on the individual, the detox phase is a part of every recuperation. At the beginning of your stay, you’ll check into a calming space complete with all modern comforts to begin a medically supervised detox.

Usually lasting around 7 days, detoxification allows your body to gradually taper off a substance. In a safe environment, you’ll have access to 24-hour care from a team dedicated to your recovery. In terms of withdrawal management, you’ll have the option to take medications such as Subutex: a low dose opiate designed to ease any discomfort.

Post-detox, a variety of therapies will become available as part of your programme. Consisting of individual and group therapy, these sessions help participants to understand their own addictions, and each other’s too. Proven to aid lifelong recovery, talking therapy can be divided into 4 main types.

1. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

By using problem solving skills, CBT aims to change the way an individual thinks about an addiction by redirecting negative thoughts pathways.

2. Dialectical Behavioural Therapy

Similar to CBT, DBT is a branch of psychotherapy that focuses more on the emotions of an individual.

3. Motivational Interviewing

This prioritises growth and acceptance through eliciting the language of change in an individual.

Alongside these categories of therapy, holistic methods of treatment are a crucial part of recovery while staying in a rehab centre. These focus on other areas of an individual’s life: using yoga, exercise, and creative hobbies to stimulate healthy living post-rehab.

Post-rehab support: our aftercare programme

As part of our referral programme, clients will receive a 12-month aftercare package from their treatment provider- at no additional cost. This will include all-important follow-up meetings with a supervisor, and further access to support groups. Finding like-minded people and connecting with those going through recovery is a crucial part of achieving lifelong sobriety.
