Rehab 4 Addiction

Drug and alcohol addiction causes untold damage in communities across the UK, affecting millions of lives in the process. If you are looking for an escape from the horrible cycle of substance abuse and addiction, you should look no further than residential rehab.

The quality and consistency of care that you receive at rehab is unrivalled, as it takes care of absolutely everything to do with addiction recovery.

You will be able to go through a safe, managed detox, get professional help with mental health issues, and learn valuable coping tools to succeed in recovery.

All of this happens in the same secure facility, with the added appeal of having access to a high standard of accommodation and hospitality during your treatment.

We at Rehab 4 Addiction provide placements at private rehab facilities around the UK. We have been doing this since forming in 2012 and have helped thousands of people to get into long-term recovery since then.

This is a testament to the effectiveness of rehab in treating addiction.

Once we have more information, we can make a recommendation on a rehab clinic within the Windermere area.

We are happy to provide any information about this process before you begin your assessment. Before calling us, you may want to read through some of our FAQs below.

How do I know if I have an addiction?

Two people hugging

This is one of the most commonly-asked questions around addiction, and with good reason. There are several signs to look out for when it comes to addiction.

If a person spends nearly all of their time or money on drugs or alcohol, that is one sign of addiction. If their romantic, personal, or professional relationships have suffered as a result of their drug or alcohol use, that is another.

If a person cannot go a single day without using, or thinking about their next hit, that is a third. A person experiencing more than one of these would definitely be indicative of addiction.

If you are concerned about the drug or alcohol abuse of someone you love, we can provide advice on how to arrange an intervention for that person.

Will I go through detox at rehab?

Therapy room

Yes, this is an essential part of the process for anyone who is still using. At rehab, you will be able to get through this phase of treatment under the supervision of medical professionals who specialise in this area of care.

This is incredibly valuable to have on your side, especially if you are detoxing from opiates or alcohol, where withdrawal symptoms can often be severe.

This is why you should never attempt to detox by yourself outside of a medical environment – it is highly dangerous, and can often result in death.

At your rehab clinic, any withdrawal symptoms that you experience, whether psychical or psychological, can be managed carefully by professionals.

What other treatments are there at rehab?

Drinking coffee

You will have your own treatment plan, which will consist of a number of different talking therapies, educational classes, and practical workshops.

With the help of mental health professionals, you will be able to explore your underlying issues, and be equipped with healthy coping mechanisms for the future.

These sessions will be both individual and group-based, meaning that you can explore more personal issues with a counsellor, as well as sharing your problems and concerns with others in group therapy.

As well as being able to get things off your chest, getting the perspective of others who are also in recovery can be very valuable and insightful.

How much will rehab cost?

Rehab-house

This is not possible to answer without first making a recommendation for a clinic. All of the clinics we refer to are private clinics, and in the private rehab market, there is a wide range of prices, as there is with any other product or service.

Once we complete your assessment and have recommended a clinic in your area, we will be able to provide a full breakdown of pricing, as well as advise on any finance options that may be available to you.

How long will I be in rehab for?

Group therapy - teens - black and white

Again, this is difficult to answer ahead of time. The timeframe of a full course of treatment can vary a little from one person to another, but the usual time from admission to discharge is about 28 days.

If your treatment were to last longer than that, it could possibly be down to your detox taking longer than average, perhaps due to particularly heavy usage.

In other words, assume that treatment will take 28 days, but allow for minor complications such as this.

Can I go to rehab as an outpatient?

head to head

It is not possible to answer that question until you have been through our assessment. For some people, attending as an outpatient may be a possibility.

However, it probably will not be advised for most service users. This is because staying at home can cause complications, such as not being able to get your sessions on time due to transport links.

It could also be that your home life is chaotic or toxic, due to a partner or a neighbour. If this is the case, you would be recommended to attend as an inpatient, as these stresses could endanger your recovery, especially during withdrawal.
