Every client receives an assessment and takes part in group therapy. One to one counselling is also available.

Clients also get help in developing life skills, where appropriate and free aftercare is provided for a day a week for a year after completing the programme.

What makes us special?

The treatment centre is a small clinic which offers clients very personal and individual attention. Accommodation is to a high standard. All clients have their own rooms and some are executive rooms with en-suite facilities. Wifi is available.

The experience is not confined to counselling. Clients are prepared for life after leaving the clinic and are helped with life skills where necessary. Clients are taken out for a meal during their stay so they can experience a good night out without drink or drugs.

Counselling and therapy is often emotionally intensive and hard work. Clients are therefore taken to a luxury health club/spa to relax. Acupuncture, aromatherapy and massages are available.

The treatment centre’s consultant doctor is a psychiatrist with many years of experience of detox. Private transport to the clinic is available on request.

Programme Overview

The centre operates a 12 Step Rehab Programme which aims for total abstinence. It includes therapeutic groups and workshops which cover consequences of behaviour, relapse prevention, life skills, anger management, dealing with change and loss, and trust and motivation.

Patients are made aware of all aspects of their addiction and helped to develop mentally, physically and spiritually.

The therapeutic sessions involve individual and group participation. Groups are open and mainly focus on the individual’s experience prior to their addiction and during active addiction. Maintenance of recovery and staying abstinent are also covered.

One to one sessions are available. Each client’s needs are individually monitored and reviewed during their stay. The primary objective is to make sure everyone leaves with the skills and tools required to maintain their recovery.

The Treatment centre offers:

  • An in-depth assessment
  • Supervised detox prescribed by the clinic’s doctor
  • 4 – 6-week full rehabilitation programme
  • Group therapy and workshops
  • One to one counselling
  • Family conference
